This top drawing is starting to display some of the mood and simplicity of drawing that I hoped this series of drawings could contain. Now to do more.

This smaller drawing is a bit less successful in the sense that it feels caught between letting the medium do it's thing and forcing the charcoal to render. However, it led to the drawing above so I think things are moving in the right direction.
