Metal panel 3 and 4

Another in the metal panel series. I am thinking of calling it "nothing new" since it is territory previously explored with vintage images and panels used in a previous iteration. I think this one is more successful than the previous few, it may have to do with the scale of the figures.

Anther work in progress.  . . . The storage at the top of the stairs in the studio has finally been enclosed. There is some built in storage on the south side of it that fits the bass amp nicely . . . The doors were cut down a bit to fit, but I like the effect of the panel doors. Still working on the mud. It seems like I get a few minutes here and there to do it.

Another in the series. These will likely get worked over in the weeks to come. 

new series

This is a new series, just to produce some work in the studio. I am planning to use found objects, collage and minimal mark making. At this point I am thinking no more than three elements per piece. This piece changed photo was taken. "Good" has been crossed out and "Not" written over it.

Lettering

Here are some of the hand lettering pieces that I work on while waiting for programs to open, process or render. This used to take place in the sketchbook, but at the moment, I am considering these unbound or future sketchbooks.
