I dig the imagery, are you planning to paint them as they age? That would relate to the passage of time, sort of a nod to decay. . . .
Only recently, in the last week or so, have I felt like the process is starting to show evidence of what I had in mind. In part it may be due to just letting go on a few pieces, notably the green lamp piece. Perhaps some of the less controlled marks help my mind accept them as having a more genuine indication of the passage of time and accumulation of marks.
The oil paint offers such a different texture and finish that I am seriously considering working with both more in tandem.
