progress . . .

A bit more collage material found its way onto this panel . . . not sure where it is headed, but I may have just ruined it. Something else to deal with visually. {The tangents are intentional.}

The drywall has been mudded in this small section of the studio. It has a coat of paint and could certainly use some touching up, but it is nice to be able to see what it might be one day when it is finished. Since painting this last week, classes have begun. So there most likely be little progress in the near future. It is nice to be using the space for more than band practice.

Metal panel 3 and 4

Another in the metal panel series. I am thinking of calling it "nothing new" since it is territory previously explored with vintage images and panels used in a previous iteration. I think this one is more successful than the previous few, it may have to do with the scale of the figures.

a work in progress

Anther work in progress.  . . . The storage at the top of the stairs in the studio has finally been enclosed. There is some built in storage on the south side of it that fits the bass amp nicely . . . The doors were cut down a bit to fit, but I like the effect of the panel doors. Still working on the mud. It seems like I get a few minutes here and there to do it.

metal panels

Another in the series. These will likely get worked over in the weeks to come.
