New Ideas, Old Panels Reconfigured

13 new 48"x48" panels ready for new ideas - thinking landscapes . . .

Removed the tarps from panels that have been set aside since May of 2012. Finding and working new arrangements to submit to a Spring 2014 show in St. Louis.

Looking to get away from the panels for a different body of work: oil on cotton and plastic.  Saturated shirt in matte medium and then allowed to dry prior to applying oil paint. The shirt was not as rigid as desired so another attempt with a t-shirt and polyurethane is underway.

  1. I've always liked the fluidity of your panels and multiple iterations that each can have in different arrangements. The panels themselves become content with which to create. cool stuff. I like the choice of color with your shirt, are you going to be doing figure work on these, or is the color field the purpose? Would starch help?
